Hierba del sapo, also known as Mexican thistle or toad grass, has been used for centuries by the Aztecs as a therapeutic tonic. Today, hierba del sapo is distributed in Mexico to help promote blood sugar control and assist in managing cholesterol. the leaves is taken to treat coughs, pertussis (whooping cough), urinary infections.
