Our wild crafted Chondrus Crispus is harvested along the coastline of Maine. Chondrus Crispus is a species of red algae which grows abundantly along the rocky parts of the Atlantic coasts of Europe and North America. In its fresh condition this protist is soft and cartilaginous, varying in color from a greenish-yellow, through red, to a dark purple or purplish-brown. It is a nutrient-dense super food, which contains an abundance amount of minerals that the body needs as well as vitamins and other essential compounds for a healthy body.
